Whether you’re just starting (or re-starting) your yoga practice, recovering from injury, or living with illness, private sessions provide opportunity for me to get to know you, your goals, and your needs in much more depth than group classes. Private sessions can focus on any element(s) of yoga that are appropriate for your goals, from asana (movement) to pranayama (breathwork) to meditation and beyond.
We’ll start with a free 30-minute consultation where we’ll discuss what you’re looking for from your yoga and meditation practice and how I can best assist you on your journey. From there, I generally recommend weekly private sessions for at least 4 weeks to build a strong foundation in your practice.
Group Classes
Practice with community, adapt to your needs.
Group classes provide instruction through a yoga or meditation practice while fostering a sense of supportive community. Classes are designed to help students find a greater sense of balance and integration. Please see class descriptions for specific information on the focus of each class.
I strive to keep the incredible tools of yoga available and accessible to all, so all group classes will include ample options for adaptation. Guidance will be given on connecting movement to breath, and classes conclude with a brief guided rest period for integration. Series Classes
Enhance your practice with new yoga tools.
Series classes allow us to explore special topics in greater depth over the course of four or more weeks together. With more time for discussion, exploration, and consistent practice, we can experiment with yoga and meditation tools and practices that go beyond what can be offered in drop-in classes.
Series classes also provide opportunity for a complete feedback cycle as you’ll be encouraged to explore the covered practices at home, and come back with observations or questions the following week. As with group classes, ample options for adaptation will be offered, but please contact me with any special concerns.
